Terms of Service

By accessing or using Helios, you agree to these Terms of Service and any additional policies or rules posted by Helios, including the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

If you use Helios on behalf of a Discord server, team, community, company, or other organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

• You must be able to enter a binding agreement under applicable law.
• You are responsible for the Discord account, host credentials, permissions, and server access you use with Helios.
• You are responsible for anyone on your team who uses Helios through your server, account, roles, or infrastructure.
• You must keep your access credentials and high-impact admin permissions secure.

Helios provides tools and content that may include:

• The public website and documentation.
• A Discord bot for Rust Console Edition server owners and admin teams.
• Feature modules such as killfeed, player activity, moderation alerts, TP/home, zones, kits, shop, economy, battle pass, automation, and related configuration tools.
• Premium features, gated modules, and operational support resources.

Helios may add, remove, change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time, including feature availability, limits, integrations, user interfaces, and premium offerings.

You agree not to:

• Use Helios in violation of law, regulation, or platform rules.
• Interfere with, disrupt, damage, reverse engineer, probe, or bypass security or operational limits of the service.
• Use Helios to harass, abuse, dox, stalk, or unlawfully target other users.
• Upload malware, malicious code, or commands intended to damage Helios, Discord servers, connected hosts, or third-party systems.
• Attempt to access data, servers, or bot functionality you are not authorized to access.
• Use Helios to infringe intellectual property rights or violate confidentiality obligations.
• Misrepresent your identity, server ownership, administrative authority, or purchase status.
• Resell, sublicense, lease, or commercially exploit Helios except where Helios has expressly authorized that use in writing.

Helios is an operating tool. You remain responsible for how your server is configured and moderated. That includes:

• Assigning roles, permissions, and channels correctly.
• Reviewing moderation and automation settings before enabling them for live players.
• Complying with console, game, hosting, Discord, and community rules that apply to your server.
• Reviewing outputs and actions taken by admins, moderators, and automated modules.
• Maintaining backups, internal process controls, and incident response procedures where needed.

Helios is not a substitute for your judgment as a server owner or operator. You are responsible for deciding whether a module, alert, automation rule, or economy setting is appropriate for your community.

Some Helios features may require a paid plan or premium purchase. Premium access may be offered through third-party providers or checkout pages linked from the Helios website.

• Premium access, pricing, feature scope, billing intervals, and renewal terms may change.
• Taxes, fees, currency conversion, and processor charges may apply depending on your location and provider.
• Payment processing, fraud checks, subscription management, and charge handling may be performed by third parties.
• Refunds, cancellations, and billing disputes may be subject to the terms shown at checkout or by the merchant of record.

Helios may suspend or revoke premium access for failed payments, chargebacks, fraud risk, abuse, or violations of these Terms.

Helios depends on third-party services, including Discord, hosting providers, payment processors, and connected Rust Console server environments. Helios is not responsible for outages, API limits, platform policy changes, host failures, game updates, bans, account restrictions, or data loss caused by those third parties.

You keep ownership of the content and data you lawfully control, but you grant Helios the limited rights needed to host, process, copy, transmit, display, and use that content to operate, support, secure, and improve the service.

If you send feedback, ideas, suggestions, or feature requests, Helios may use them without restriction or compensation unless a separate written agreement says otherwise.

Helios and its related software, branding, site content, layouts, text, graphics, and documentation are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Except for the limited rights expressly granted by these Terms, Helios reserves all rights in the service.

Helios may suspend, limit, or terminate access to the website, bot, premium features, or support channels at any time, with or without notice, if Helios reasonably believes:

• You violated these Terms or another applicable policy.
• Your use creates security, legal, platform, fraud, or operational risk.
• A third-party platform or provider requires action.
• The service, feature, or account can no longer be supported.

You may stop using Helios at any time by removing the bot, discontinuing premium access, and ceasing use of the site and related services.

Helios is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. Helios does not guarantee uninterrupted availability, perfect accuracy, complete uptime, error-free operation, or that the service will meet every server-owner use case.

Documentation, moderation outputs, alerts, automation results, and setup guidance are operational resources, not legal advice, tax advice, security guarantees, or business guarantees.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Helios and its operators, affiliates, suppliers, licensors, and service providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, business, data, or use, arising out of or related to the service.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, if Helios is found liable for any claim arising from the service, Helios's total liability will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid to Helios for the affected premium service in the twelve months before the event that gave rise to the claim, or fifty U.S. dollars (USD $50).

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Helios and its operators, affiliates, suppliers, and service providers from claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, losses, and expenses arising out of or related to your use of Helios, your server operations, your content or data, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of applicable law or third-party rights.

Helios may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version becomes effective when posted unless a later effective date is stated. Your continued use of Helios after an updated version becomes effective means you accept the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws that apply in the location of the Helios operator's principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where consumer protection law requires otherwise.

To the extent permitted by law, disputes relating to Helios will be brought in the courts with proper jurisdiction over that principal place of business, unless applicable law requires a different forum.
